Healing the Whole Person Conference program sponsored by the Archdiocese of Portland

This is to officially announce an invitation from the Archdiocese for us to participate in the upcoming “Healing the Whole Person Conference,” scheduled November 30, 2023, through December 3, 2023. There will be both an in person and livestream program. In person program (in English) at our Lady of Lavang in Portland, and in person (Spanish), at St. Alice, in Springfield. The Archdiocese has mapped out and scheduled (in coordination with their pastors), four parishes to serve as livestream satellite locations for the Archdiocese on this program. They are: St. Alice Springfield, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cottage Grove, Sacred Heart Parish Medford, and Star of the Sea parish, here in Brookings. That means, we shall be having people both around our parish, south coast, and beyond. The cost for the life stream will be $119. The Archdiocese has started advertising it. It will be hosted through the John Paul II Healing Center. 

Registration starts August 28, 2023. This will be a fulfilling program for all to participate. More details will be coming out and clearer as we progress. What is “Healing the Whole Person” all about: Experience Jesus in His mission of healing! Physical, spiritual, and emotional healing, central to the Church’s life and 2,000-year tradition, come to life in this teaching. Led by renown speakers and authors Dr. Bob Schuchts, Sr. Miriam James Heidland SOLT & Bart Schuchts, the uniquely engaging format will help you see and experience God’s healing love through teaching, prayer, personal reflection, Adoration, worship, and the Sacraments.

Who is Healing the Whole Person for? Anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of the Gospel message of a God who loves us and who has designs for our wholeness and happiness to a degree that we could have ever imagined and who has designs for our wholeness and happiness to a degree that we could have ever imagined.
