This is to express my gratitude to all of you who volunteered during Archbishop Sample’s visit with us, both in Brookings and Gold Beach. It was such a wonderful, spiritual time for all of us.
I want to personally thank all our men and women for their hard work and dedication during Archbishop Alexander Sample’s visit. The Archbishop was very grateful for your hospitality, and he extends his blessings.
My appreciation and thanks go to those who did all the cleaning in the parish hall, those who helped in the parish office, those who prepared meals, our nuns, those who decorated the parish hall, the Hispanic community who entertained with their program of joyful dance in Brookings, the Community Kitchen volunteers, the sacristans, the altar servers, those who brought dishes, salad, etc., those who served in various ways at Mass, those who decorated the church with flowers, the women who did weeding around the premises, and those who assembled the desks in the new St. John Paul II conference/ministry room in the hall at Star of the Sea which was blessed by Archbishop Sample.
In a special way, may I thank Frank Diaz who mounted all the Stations of the Cross on the grounds of Star of the Sea. He volunteered his time, working hard for many hours and weeks. I also graciously thank our choirs and organists from both churches who volunteered with their hearts and love to serve our parish and Jesus Christ.
This letter is completely about offering a big thank you with appreciation, my prayers, and my love to each and every one of you. I am so grateful.
May Jesus, the Savior bless you, guide and protect all of us as a family in all we do, through the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus, the Savior. Amen.
May He reward each of you abundantly according to how you need Him in your spiritual, family, and daily life through Christ, our Lord. Amen. Thank you with all my love and prayers!
